Bikers
For Christ is a nondenominational para-church outreach ministry. We are
not church based, though our members are required to be active
participants in a Bible-believing local church. Our focus is on bringing
Jesus’ message of forgiveness, hope, deliverance from bondage to sin and
His offer of eternal salvation to the biker community. Membership in
Bikers For Christ is open to born again Christians who ride motorcycles
and are willing to actively engage in evangelism to reach other bikers
with God’s message of redemption.
More Information
Please understand that we are careful in the
processing of membership requests. It takes time to get to know someone
so even though we don’t have a formal prospect period, we do take time
to get acquainted with folks before extending an offer of membership or
a membership decision is made.
Bikers for Christ is a ministry that is led and directed by the Holy
Spirit. Bikers for Christ is NOT a Christian ride club. In order to
become a member of Bikers for Christ you need to be a member of and
attend a Christian church on a regular basis, own and ride a motorcycle
(500-cc minimum), and complete a BFC application that must be approved
by your Pastor. If you are a pastor, we request approval by one of your
pastoral staff or elder. Your pastor will be called by a Chapter or
State Elder who will describe our ministry to ensure his and your
church’s support of your involvement in biker ministry.
Check out our
Charter. If you can agree with our principles, meet all the
requirements for the ministry, live by the standards that our Lord put
forth in the Gospels and the New Testament (especially 1 Timothy 3 for
qualifications for ministry) have a heart to serve the Lord and are a
devoted Christian, reborn in the Spirit you may be interested in getting
involved in Bikers for Christ. We hold ourselves and each other to the
highest standards of Christ-like living.
We do want you to understand that membership in Bikers for Christ is a
very serious commitment to service and is all about ministering to the
biker community by being a faithful witness for our Lord. Note that some
professions could be considered as a “conflict of interest”. This includes
being ready and willing to minister to members of motorcycle clubs. This
is very much a ministry for mature Christ followers. It is very
important that all members of Bikers for Christ are rooted and grounded
in the Lord and are willing and able to share the Gospel with all those
that the Lord puts in front of us.
Please prayerfully consider how and where God is leading you to serve
HIM. This is not about us, it is not about our bikes and it is not about
our patch. It is about bringing hope to those who are lost and in
bondage to sin.
